GoDaddy Logins - the most up-to-date UID & Password are located in the Internal Resources - "internal logins" in CX Dashboard.
Part 1 - Add CNAME codes.
1. Click on the Main Personal Settings
2. Click on Account settings
3. Select the Account Delegate Access
4. Select which account to access by clicking on Access now.
5. Click on the 3 dots (settings). Then click on Edit DNS.
6. Go to domain AWS and create an identity to create the AWS CNAME codes.
Use this AWS link: https://us-east-1.console.aws.amazon.com/sesv2/home?region=us-east-1#/identities
7. Click on Domain at the top and then, Click on Create Identity.
After you click on Create Identity, a set of CNAME codes will be generated. The ones inside the yellow box is what you will copy paste in the DNS settings.
8. Go back to GoDaddy and add the codes accordingly.
8.1 Click on add New Record
8.2 In GoDaddy, add the codes exactly like below. Lastly, click on Save All Records. There are agencies with 2nd-verification features and you might need to get the 6-digit code from support@enginehire.ca.
9. Go back to the AWS Identities and check if the codes went through. Search for the domain that you just configured and it should say Verified.
Use this AWS link: https://us-east-1.console.aws.amazon.com/sesv2/home?region=us-east-1#/identities
Important Reminder: There are domains that get verified in a matter of seconds. There are also some domains that get verified in a matter of 48 hours and the longest is 72 hours. Make sure that you check for the next 3 to 4 days.
If you see a status "UNVERIFIED", you need to delete the domain identity and start all over again.
If it goes Unverified again, always consult Aakash.
Part 2 - Add SPF1 / TXT codes.
1. On GoDaddy, check for the SPF1 code and click on the pencil icon to edit.
2. Insert: "include:amazonses.com include:spf.google.com include:spf.protection.outlook.com" between the last entry and "-all".
If they already have other email domains, don't remove them. What's important is that you include these 3 main major email domains in the codes:
include:amazonses.com
include:spf.google.com
include:spf.protection.outlook.com
So in the example above, at first it says: v=spf1 include:secureserver.net -all
You replace it with: v=spf1 include:secureserver.net include:amazonses.com include:spf.google.com include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all
Important Reminder: When adding CNAME codes, there might be a 6-digit code requirement. Go to the inbox of support@enginehire.ca and copy the codes.
