Using the "see nearby candidates" feature can be a useful tool for both planning and matching purposes when building up your list of potential fits for a permanent position. In addition, you can reduce movement between tabs by selecting candidates that may be a good fit and adding them directly as "applicants" to the permanent job posting!
Navigate to your Permanent Job Posting board.
Click on the icon to "see nearby candidates"
Note - this feature will only work if there is an address entered into the job posting. The address does not have to be displayed publicly and can remain visible to only Admins if you choose.
Select the box or boxes next to the Candidates you wish to add as Applicants to this position. Once you check the box, you'll see the button open up to "Add Applicant."
Once "Add Applicant" is clicked you'll see a pop-up where you can choose what Relationship status to place the candidate in and have the opportunity to write any notes about this candidate.
Click submit to save your work & close to exit out of the pop-up.
Now, when you click to "View Applicants" for the position, you will see the candidates just added, their relationship status, and more!
